As the Geophysical Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving the technical excellence, innovation, and overall success of our geophysical operations, working closely with the Survey Director. This position requires exceptional technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and a track record of delivering high-quality geophysical survey projects. The Head Geophysical Lead will report to the Survey Director and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the effective execution of geophysical survey operations.

• Responsibilities:
• Technical Leadership:

Provide technical leadership and guidance in geophysical survey operations, working closely with the Survey Director to align strategies and goals.

Ensure adherence to industry best practices, methodologies, and standards in geophysical survey operations.

• Project Planning and Execution:

Collaborate with the Survey Director and cross-functional teams to plan and execute geophysical survey projects, considering overall project objectives and timelines.

Assist in resource allocation, scheduling, and budget management for geophysical operations.

• Data Acquisition and Processing:

Oversee the acquisition and processing of geophysical data, in coordination with the Survey Director, to ensure accurate and reliable results.

Conduct quality control checks on data acquisition, processing, and interpretation to maintain data integrity.

• Technical Analysis and Reporting:

Work closely with the Survey Director in conducting detailed technical analysis of geophysical data, interpreting results, and deriving actionable insights.

Collaborate on the preparation of comprehensive geophysical reports, presenting findings and recommendations effectively.

• Team Management and Development:

Collaborate with the Survey Director in leading and mentoring a team of geophysical professionals, fostering their growth and enhancing their skills.

Promote a collaborative and positive work environment within the geophysical team.

• Client Engagement and Relationship Management:

Work closely with the Survey Director to engage with clients, understand project requirements, and address technical inquiries effectively.

Contribute to building and maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring client satisfaction and identifying opportunities for business growth.

• Health, Safety, and Environmental Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the Survey Director in promoting a strong health, safety, and environmental culture within geophysical operations.

Ensure compliance with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards, implementing necessary risk mitigation measures.

• Industry Engagement:

Represent Ondine Limited, in collaboration with the Survey Director, in relevant industry forums, conferences, and technical committees.

Foster collaborations and contribute to industry thought leadership, staying updated with industry trends, advancements, and emerging technologies.

• Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree or higher in geophysics, geosciences, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in geophysical survey operations, with a strong focus on offshore projects.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex geophysical survey projects, from planning to execution and reporting.
• Deep knowledge of geophysical survey techniques, methodologies, data processing, and interpretation.
• Proficiency in using geophysical software and tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities, with experience in leading and developing high-performing teams.
