    What is the opportunity?


    The Digital Services Infrastructure Operations Engineer will coordinate the efforts of Bank and vendor technical teams to manage the service delivery and maintenance of the RHEL private cloud infrastructure, and critical project delivery to operations teams. The role offers an exciting opportunity to help drive the direction and delivery of our digital services.

    In this Role, you will

    • Coordinate the efforts of Bank and vendor technical teams to manage the service delivery
    • Ensure the maintenance of the RHEL private cloud infrastructure
    • Assist with critical project delivery to operations teams
    • Govern our infrastructure partners to ensure service operability at Service Level Agreement levels
    • Work to enhance the digital service offering and experience to our customers

    What will make you stand out?


    You should have management and oversight experience in a multivendor environment, and have been involved in providing security and oversight for RedHat Enterprise Linux on VMware hybrid cloud-based projects and services, previously acting as a technical subject matter expert on RHEL Infrastructure. The ability to Maintain & monitor standards, controls, processes and solutions, to minimise business and IT risk and drive through identified risks to closure including reporting of progress against each item assigned within your area of responsibility.

    • RedHat Enterprise Linux Systems Administrator
    • VMware Certified Professional
    • Strong working experience in RedHat support / design roles
    • Continuously seek opportunities to innovate and to improve the automated operational deliveries.
    • Strong knowledge of RedHat tooling (Ansible/Insights/etc)

    Essential Qualifications


    There are no specific qualifications or minimum educational requirements needed for this role.

    The candidate for this role would need to be RedHat Enterprise Linux Systems Administrator or above with extensive experience in automation and ansible.

    The Digital Services Operations team are accountable for the private cloud on which we support our digital platform service offerings. We manage our partners through strong governance and controls. We drive the standards of delivery and service and we constantly seek to improve the platform.

    This is a hybrid role and can be done anywhere in the Republic of Ireland with the primary office location as ITC, Cabinteely, Dublin 18. Travel will be required for in-person collaboration - exact frequency will be agreed with the line manager.
