    Position: Senior Accountant

    Reporting to: Finance Director

    Role Overview:

    As a Senior Accountant at PKF, you will play a crucial role in supporting the management of daily finance operations. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for overseeing various financial aspects, ensuring accuracy, and contributing to the overall success of the finance team.

    Key Responsibilities :

  • Support the management of daily finance operations, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
  • Oversee cash reports and credit control.
  • Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable, including supplier reconciliations.
  • Prepare and file Corporation tax returns.
  • Prepare and file VAT returns.
  • Provide pivotal support in the month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Prepare month-end journals and reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly.
  • Take responsibility for the accurate and timely preparation and filing of monthly payroll.
  • Efficiently manage staff expenses and ensure compliance with ERR reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate with the finance team on ad hoc projects as they arise.
  • Provide backup support to the Finance Director as and when required.

    • Key Criteria:

  • Qualified accountant with a minimum of 1 year relevant experience.
  • Very strong Excel and general IT skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in accounts reconciliation and accounts preparation.
  • Strong communication and time management skills.
  • Positive energy and attitude with a desire to drive change and improve processes.
