How You Will Contribute:

• Provide operational and process safety support to designated operational areas.
• Advocate for the reporting of incidents and near misses, ensuring thorough assessments and oversight of these events and their corrective actions.
• Establish and continually enhance safety standards, ensuring compliance with legal and corporate requirements.
• Take the lead on specified elements and provide support for relevant components of the Safety Management System.
• Propose, develop, and implement safety-focused improvements and modifications to process areas, procedures, and equipment to enhance operations.
• Lead risk assessments for processes, tasks, and equipment.
• Deliver necessary training to colleagues as required.
• Support safety investigations across the site.
• Conduct safety audits and continuously enhance the site's safety management systems.

Qualifications:

Must-Have:

• Safety Qualification.
• Strong understanding of safety and process engineering, encompassing general processing and plant operations.
• Highly motivated with robust interpersonal and communication skills, along with problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
