Description
Eolas is currently seeking a qualified Accounts Technician/Administrator to enhance the finance team of their client based in Co. Tipperary. This opportunity is for a permanent, full-time position.Job Responsibilities:
Handle verification, allocation, and posting of transactions to maintain accurate subsidiary accounts. Process sales invoices, receipts, and payments. Ensure the general ledger is balanced by preparing trial balances.
Implement and manage a system for tracking financial transactions, including the development of a chart of accounts and establishing comprehensive bookkeeping procedures and policies.
Manage the preparation of invoices for the Office of the Revenue Commissioners. Prepare Profit & Loss statements for annual financial reporting. Oversee HR and Payroll functions.Adhere to and enforce compliance with legal requirements by studying regulations, filing necessary reports, and advising management on required actions.
Requirements:
Strong interest in business and finance. Methodical, thorough, and analytical mindset. Ability to collaborate with a team or work independently. Proficient IT skills. Capability to perform effectively under pressure and meet deadlines. Must maintain confidentiality and demonstrate honesty and discretion in handling sensitive information.
Education Required:
Advanced/Higher Certificate in a relevant field
