As stories start

I feared lack of ideas

Keyboard catatonia no forward gears

Turns out I’ve thoughts aplenty 

but yet unshaped

They buzz about

Like cracked-up bees

All energy no focus

A greater foe than the blank screen

Hard-core, hard-faced, implacable

It’s deadline time
