Electrochemical hydrogenation using a palladium membrane reactor for electrification of the chemical manufacturing sector. Electrodeposition of catalyst layers. Carbon material analysis and characterisation including electrochemical techniques, UV-Vis spectroscopy and Raman spectroscopy. New methods for synthesising boron doped diamond electrodes. Optimisation of electrode properties to maximise electrocatalytic oxidation of water to ozone. Preparation of written reports and publication quality articles to peer reviewed journals. Mentorship of MSc students. Delivered oral and poster presentations to both national and international conference audiences. Presentation and discussion of data to supervisor, research group, collaborators, and advisory board. Experimental design, data analysis, and problem solving.
