Beatrice Aboagyewaah Kyei

I am a Ghanaian nurse with more than 5years experience in Health care services. I am experienced in total nursing care that patients need. My out-most desire is to bond well with my patients, see patients satisfied and happy with the care i render them. I am hardworking, good team-mate, have patience and empathy towards clients, multi-tasking skills, therapeutic communication skills, critical thinking skills, patient assessment skills and can work under pressure. 

I am a Registered General Nurse. I was permanently posted to Saltpond Municipal Hospital in the central region of Ghana, and have been working there till date. I have been working at the hospital for more than 5years now in all the nursing departments.  My responsibilities include, patient assessment, admission and discharge of patients, administration of medications, documentation of nursing activities, obtaining relevant history from patients, checking and monitoring baseline vital signs and intervening on abnormalities detected, ensuring the safety, comfort, respect and dignity of patient are maintained, obtaining samples such as blood and  body fluids for laboratory examinations, maintaining patients personal hygiene, using aseptic procedures during surgical and medical procedures, adhering to infection control policies, maintaining a sterile environment for patient, staff and patient relatives. ensuring confidentiality etc 

 I pursued a three years diploma program at the Nursing and Midwifery Training College Cape Coast in the Central Region of Ghana. I commenced my nursing training school in August 2013 and completed in August 2016. The courses we were taught include medicine, surgery, human anatomy and physiology, micobiology, trauma and emergency, psychiatry, perspectives in nursing,  basic and advanced nursing, pharmacology, administrative nursing, psychology, public health, information communication Technology, obstetrics and gyanacology.
