    Description

    Applications are open for the following positions at St Vincent's Centre, Limerick:

    Fulltime Care Staff - 39 hours per week (including Days and Nights Duty), offering a Permanent position with a salary ranging from €30,755 to €43,909 (subject to Relevant Public Sector Experience) for Specified Purpose Relief. This opportunity requires candidates to provide Residential and Day Services to individuals with an Intellectual Disability.

    We are seeking applications from individuals interested in joining St Vincent's Community Houses, who are dedicated to supporting individuals with disabilities and their families. We value a person-centred, community-based, socially inclusive approach that reflects our core values and ethos, guided by quality, best practices, and research.

    Requirements for applicants:

    • FETAC level 5 qualification or Fully Completed QQ I level 5 in Health/Social Care.
    • Essential possession of a Full Clean Driving License for Manual Vehicle
    • Prior experience working with individuals with Disability and complex needs, along with Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills. The ability to manage time effectively, exhibit initiative, and work well within a team.

    Applicants must also demonstrate effective collaboration with families, flexibility, and creativity. Proficiency in Level I behavioural competencies of Avista competency framework is preferable (details available below the job description).
