About the Role

We are seeking a talented Hydrogeologist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to scope and deliver projects in line with client requirements. The role involves desk based studies, site data collection and collation, coordination of environmental site investigations and monitoring programmes, undertaking GQRA and DQRA, developing remediation plans, and preparing technical reports.

• Coordination of environmental site investigations and monitoring programmes
• Undertaking GQRA and DQRA and developing remediation plan
• Preparation of technical reports

Requirements

• MSc in Hydrogeology, Hydrology or experience in working in these areas
• Minimum of 4 years' experience working in the environmental sector
• High attention to detail, excellent report writing, and communication skills
• Ability to problem solve and assemble various strands of complex data into clear, concise outputs
• Capacity to respond to tight timelines, reporting needs, and internal reporting structures
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office, hydrogeological software packages, and GIS
• Full Clean Driving Licence

Preferred Qualifications

• Membership/Chartership of a recognised Environmental Professional body such as IEMA, IGI, IAH, CIWEM etc.
• Experience in preparation of chapters for EIARs
• Experience in site wide monitoring, supervision of drilling and pumptesting and water quality analysis
• Experience in Contaminated Land Site Assessment, Quantitative Risk Assessment and Remediation of Contaminated Sites
