    Description

    Job Title: Java Backend Developer

    Location: Dublin City Centre (5 days onsite)

    Contract Duration: 6 months

    We are seeking a skilled Java Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. As a key member, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining high-performance server-side applications.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Develop new features, fix bugs, and enhance the codebase by translating product requirements into functional and extensible software.
    • Build and deploy new applications while maintaining low response times.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Web and Android developers.
    • Contribute to test plans and ensure high-quality code delivery.

    Key Requirements:

    • Proven experience in backend Java development with a strong grasp of RESTful APIs and relational databases.
    • Proficiency with Microservices, Spring Boot, and Kubernetes.
    • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Google Cloud.
    • Experience with Agile Scrum teams and distributed computing.
    • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

    Desirable Qualifications:

    • Knowledge of Java/Kotlin.
    • Understanding of DevOps principles and supporting scalable systems.

    Please note that for this position, you must be based in Dublin and hold a UK/EU passport or Stamp 4.
