    UI Software Engineer

    Due to continued growth, we are currently hiring a UI Software Engineer to join our team.

    The UI Software Engineer will work as part of the Software Development team, on our own project to replace an existing system with a newly defined application, moving to a different technology stack.

    Opportunity type: Contract (6 months initially), Hybrid in Dublin D2 (1 or 2 days max per week in office)

    The UI Software Engineer will be part of small team of developers and will play a key role in the development of a new data register software. This is a large development with many interesting challenges in the areas of user experience, data integrity, security, large-scale databases, multi-threading, high availability systems, and entity resolution.

    Requirements:


    • At least 5 years of professional development experience using Angular, Angular Material, Typescript, CSS, HTML.


    • Experience of performance tuning of code.


    • Experience in object-oriented design and development.


    • Ability to approach problems with a sense of ownership, enthusiasm, and innovation.


    • Excellent interpersonal skills and a proactive approach to problem solving.

    Desirable Skills:


    • Experience writing unit tests and automated testing.


    • Experience developing user interfaces.


    • Relevant industry certified professional qualifications.

    Responsibilities


    • Participate in all activities of the Development Team, e.g. daily stand-ups.


    • Design and implement UI Software solutions in line with the project's plan, and using the technologies mentioned above.


    • Ensure the code meets requirements, time and quality criteria.
