- Providing emergency medical care and treatment to patients with a variety of illnesses and injuries
- Assessing patients' conditions and determining appropriate treatment plans
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests and imaging studies
- Consulting with other healthcare professionals as needed to provide comprehensive patient care
- Documenting patient care and treatment in medical records
- Participating in patient rounds and case conferences
- Providing patient education and counseling on medical conditions, treatments, and preventative care
- Participating in quality assurance and improvement initiatives
- Adhering to hospital policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations Qualifications:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Completion of a residency program in Emergency Medicine or Post-Graduation
- Valid medical license in the state of practice
- Excellent diagnostic and decisionmaking skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced, highstress environment
