    Position Summary:

    The ZTD (Zoetis Tech & Digital) Global Manufacturing & Supply (GMS) Partner serves as a strategic and tactical interface with the Global Supply Chain and Logistics, Procurement, and External Supply organizations in the EuAfME and APAC regions for the purpose of technology and digital strategy execution, solution discovery, project delivery, risk, and relationship management. He/she will be an integral part of the Global Supply Chain and Logistics, Procurement and External Supply organizations and work on strategic and tactical levels to identify opportunities, delivering business value through deployment of technology and digital solutions.

    Responsibilities:

    Business Relationship Management (40%):

  • Cultivate strong relationships with Global Supply Chain and Logistics, Procurement, and External Supply organizations in EuAfME and APAC regions, as well as with stakeholders across the ZTD community
  • Understand business needs, objectives, and challenges, and influence the business strategy to drive innovation through technology and digital solutions
  • Act as the primary point of contact for these regions, facilitating the conversion of business demands into tangible solutions
  • Ensure proactive communication with relevant stakeholders
  • Leadership (10%):

  • Lead and influence in a matrix organization without direct reports
  • Foster a high-performing culture and drive results through exemplary leadership
  • Recognize educational opportunities for stakeholders and provide support
  • Manage assigned contractor resources effectively
  • Project Management (30%):

  • Lead the Project Life Cycle for assigned projects, ensuring adherence to appropriate project management methodologies
  • Communicate project health and risks to key stakeholders
  • Drive future M&A activities within assigned areas
  • Implement new technology and digital solutions according to agreed strategies
  • Business Analysis and Operational Excellence (20%):

  • Collaborate with business partners to identify business needs, and work with the ZTD ERP and Digital, Data and Analytics Teams to translate them into technology and digital solutions
  • Champion Operational Excellence opportunities and initiatives within and across areas of responsibilities in collaboration with Global Supply Chain, Procurement and External Supply, and ZTD Operations (e.g., incident management and break/fix processes, 3PL and warehousing processes, etc.)
  • Work with ZTD Operations to address system failures and improve system stability and performance, ensure pro-active communication of system failures to business stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Third-Party technology partners as well as ZTD colleagues to align technology integration and improve performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to implement and expand Communities of Practice to drive business adoption, knowledge sharing and leveraging of best practices
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to refine and improve knowledge management systems and enable self-service tools and documentation
  • Provide structured visibility and information access to business stakeholders utilizing available tools, applications, and platforms
  • Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration required; Master's preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in various IT practices such as Supply Chain Management, Business Relationship Management, Technology and Digital, Project Delivery, IT Vendor Management
  • Experience with delivery of ERP, Digital Solutions, and/or 3PL integration projects is preferred
  • Experience with SAP is preferred
  • Proven ability to combine knowledge from multiple disciplines, identifying and integrating industry best practices with existing solutions to produce an optimal business solution
  • Demonstrated ability to work across organizational regional and global boundaries, ability to manage multiple projects in a cross-divisional and cross-functional environment
  • Adept at understanding customer challenges, navigating from problem to resolution and communicating process and resolution effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Experience leading and influencing in a matrix organization with no direct reports
  • Experience with Business Process Analysis, Design & Harmonization
  • Experience in life sciences / pharmaceuticals industry is preferred

  • Ability and experience to evaluate business needs and identify, propose, and influence technology and digital solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to drive process analysis, design, and harmonization
  • Understanding and affinity for Supply Chain Management and Logistics, Procurement and External Supply trends and practices
  • Fluent English
  • Travel Requirements: Occasional domestic and international travel (<25%)
