- You will be responsible for maintaining & developing the Companies Operational Management Systems. These will include, Quality ISO 9001, FSSC, Health, Safety, Environment, EU Chemical Directives (REACH, BPD etc).
- A large part of the role will be to support and drive our ongoing programme for improving our business processes, operations and contribution to the reduction of risk.
- Drafting Safety Data Sheets for new and existing products using SDS authoring software.
- Prepare, collect and compile compliance data with auditors and internal departments and share as needed to relevant regulatory bodies.
- Provide administrative support by implementing systems, procedures, and policies in accordance with regulatory & various accreditation platforms and ISO standards.
- Keep up-to-date with legislative and regulatory changes that may impact the business and liaise with the Compliance Manager on the necessary course of action.
- Ensure regulatory standards are logged, dealt with, escalated and reported to the appropriate persons within the Company.
- Provide Regulatory Guidance during product design and development, as required.
- Build and maintain good working relationships with external auditors & safety partners.
- Attend H&S meetings.
- Perform other related responsibilities, as assigned.
- Excellent organisational, analytical and research skills with acute attention to detail.
- Highly organised and ability to work on own initiative.
- Positive, innovative attitude and the ability to take new assignments and projects with an open mind.
- Self-starter highly motivated with the ability to prioritize
- Good communication skills (verbal & written)
- Minimum qualification at Degree level in compliance or related fields, desirable and or previous experience in a Compliance Capacity(min 3 years).
- Ability to demonstrate sound technical knowledge of the regulatory landscape would be preferable.
- Strong IT Skills with a working knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint, with proficiency of creating pivot tables, formulas etc in MS Excel and Company databases.
