    Description

    Job Title: REGNEO25 Registrar in Neonatology

    Opportunity exists for a qualified Registrar in Neonatology to join the Department of Paediatrics at HSE Mid-West, working at University Maternity Hospital Limerick (UMHL).

    This fixed term wholetime post is available from July 2025. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team and contribute to the provision of high quality neonatal care to infants and their families.

    The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. They will also have a commitment to ongoing professional development and lifelong learning.

    We are looking for an individual who is motivated, enthusiastic and willing to take on new challenges. If you have a passion for neonatology and a desire to make a positive impact on the lives of patients and families, then we would like to hear from you.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide high-quality medical care to newborns and their families.
    • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of patient care plans.
    • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
    • Engage in ongoing professional development and education to stay up-to-date with best practices in neonatology.

    Requirements:

    • Registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Medical Council of Ireland.

    • Commitment to ongoing professional development and lifelong learning.
