    Description

    Our client, a Global Healthcare leader is keen to hire a Demand Planner to join their team in Sligo .

    This is a contract position initally.

    Primary Function

    Responsible for Demand & Supply Planning of Products ensuring that operations provides a High-Quality Customer service to both internal and external Customers.

    Effective financial and inventory management.

    As a Demand Planner , you will be responsible for the following:

    • Demand & Supply Planning of a defined product group to assure the availability of Quality products in the right time, place and quantity.
    • Accountable for the Financial and inventory management of Products under Planner's remit.
    • Accountable for the manufacturing site Supply Plan.
    • For new & ramp-up ramp down products, Planner is accountable for retrieving Demand working with Project Management, Regulatory, Marketing and Commercial to ensuring product availability and product fiscal management.
    • Communicate and support Global Affiliates with available information, reservations and special requests when required.
    • Set allocations, assignments, reservations according to Customer requirements.
    • Communicate and work with Manufacturing sites ensuring on-time delivery of orders.
    • Support Programs requiring Demand management ensuring Customer Supply.
    • Establish & carry out monthly/weekly reports & required KPI ́s.
    • Support Global Financial processes for your product group.
    • Identify and implement both System and process improvements.

    Education

    • A relevant third level qualification, preferably a degree and/ or APICs or IIPMM qualification as this qualification provides a good foundation for this job function.

    Background

    • The following experience provides a necessary foundation for this Job function:
    • Experience in a similar role in a manufacturing environment (preference regulated environment)
    • Good communication skills with all levels of the organisation
    • Self-Starter
    • Problem solving
    • Excel / Microsoft office
