- As Applegreen Electric expands, the responsibilities will evolve and change over time. The initial responsibilities will primarily focus on the following areas:
- Create detailed site layout drawings, electrical drawings, schematics, and diagrams using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
- Collaborate with all relevant stakeholders to translate their designs and concepts into technical drawings.
- Ensure that all drawings adhere to industry standards, regulations, and company guidelines.
- Update and maintain existing electrical drawings as needed.
- Participate in design reviews and provide input on the feasibility of drawings.
- Assist in documenting changes and revisions to electrical drawings.
- Organize and manage a library of electrical drawings and design files.
- Assist in the preparation of technical documentation and reports to include preparation of design packs for tender process.
- Support the electrical engineering team in solving design and layout challenges.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in CAD software and electrical design techniques.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer / Technician or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks etc.
- Strong knowledge of electrical design symbols, terminology, and industry standards.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in drafting and documentation.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Basic understanding of electrical engineering principles.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with electrical components and systems.
