We are seeking a skilled temporary Consultant Medicine Locum to join our team at one of our University Hospitals.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a high standard of care to patients and supporting our team of doctors and nurses.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting assessments, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and formulating a treatment plan for patients with complex medical conditions.
• Providing clinical leadership and support for junior medical staff and nurses.
• Ensuring that the treatment provided to patients is in line with hospital policies and procedures.
• Participating in clinical audits and quality improvement projects.
• Maintaining accurate and complete medical records.

Requirements:

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• Specialist Registration with the Medical Council.
• Experience in Consultant Medicine.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and education.
