Be part of the transformation The Opportunity We now seek a Team Lead to join our Engineering and Asset Management Function.
    The Asset Management Team Lead will play a key role in managing the integrity of the assets and ensuring the continued operation of the power system. The Team Join our dynamic Engineering and Asset Management Function for a trilling opportunity to spearhead a team of engineers in optimizing asset management and delivering transmission infrastructure both onshore and offshore. As the Asset Management Team Lead, you'll champion asset integrity and ensure uninterrupted power system functionality. Your role will extend to influencing third parties on technical matters, engaging with connected customers and notably collaborating with ESBN as the transmission assets owner onshore. About you
    Successful candidates will have the following:
    • Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent typically with 8+ years post-qualification experience.
    • Excellent technical knowledge in high voltage transmission design with strong knowledge of transmission technology (HV cables, substations, and OHL) including new and emerging technologies.
    • Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on high quality report writing and ability to communicate technical issues clearly and effectively.
    • Ability to lead and influence others to move towards a common vision or goal and to work collaboratively with and through others.
    • Demonstrable experience leading high performing teams, with an ability to persuade and motivate others in achieving business objectives.
    • Strong understanding of the requirements of stakeholders and industry for the transmission system and associated developments.
    • Ability to coach and mentor staff to provide high quality engineering service.
