- Serve as the Person-in-Charge during the Director of Nursing's absence in line with the Health Act 2007, associated regulations, and HIQA standards.
- Ensure exceptional standards in hygiene, food safety, and housekeeping.
- Participate in clinical management, engaging directly with residents, families, and staff.
- Oversee staff performance, coordinate rosters, and lead with professionalism and dedication.
- Develop and implement policies, quality assurance measures, and clinical risk management practices.
- Collaborate with HR on grievance and disciplinary matters.
- Work alongside senior management on operational standards and resident care policies.
- Participate in daily operations and make informed decisions to ensure high-quality care.
- Lead by example and promote a positive work environment.
- At least 3 years' experience nursing older persons within the last 6 years, with a total of 7 years post-registration experience.
- Third-level qualification in management.
- Registered General Nurse (RGN) with a commitment to ongoing learning and improvement.
- Strong skills in workload management, effective communication, and collaboration.
- Flexible availability as needed.
- Excellent rate of pay from €60,000 per year.
