Our client, a renowned mechanical engineering firm specializing in the Pharmaceutical, Food, and Beverage sectors across Ireland, partners with industry leaders like Pfizer, Glanbia, and Diageo.

As the company expands, they are hiring a Mechanical Quantity Surveyor, working on a Hybrid basis to strengthen their dynamic team in Limerick.

Key Responsibilities:
Examine technical project drawings and documents to prepare for tenders.
Conduct quantity take-offs for tender submissions.
Evaluate equipment and plant quotes for accuracy.
Input project take-offs and equipment details into estimation tools.
Prepare and share tender documentation.
Coordinate with external estimators when needed.
Explore cost-saving options through value engineering initiatives.
Participate in site visits and client discussions as required.

Key Skills:
Maintain and update work-in-progress lists.
Organize project files and ensure proper server storage.
Distribute project drawings and related documents for tendering purposes.
Create summaries for estimation and send out quotation requests.
Submit necessary tender documents to external estimation teams.
Complete and share tender forms.
Archive tender documentation in both digital and physical formats.
Refresh pricing and product information in estimation tools as needed.
