Software Engineer Permanent position Dublin city centre/Hybrid Our high profile client based in Dublin city centre is actively seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join their team.

The ideal candidate must have experience working in an Agile Continuous Integration environment and Java full-stack development experience.

Responsibilities Ensures proposed solutions align with technology domains Contribute to project planning to define development activities Works independently and as part of a software development team for specific projects as required.

Develop/modify/configure/integrate solutions to meet design. Develop, run, and verify test cases. Provide support for testing phases. Complete deliverables within methodologies and change management processes Participate/coordinate/create /execute implementation plan. Support Solutions post implementation Identify/recommend /implement enhancements, standards, methods, tools, processes, and practices for SDEs. Assess the impacts of scope changes to SD activities. Contribute to the identification of hardware requirements, software, and tools.


Requirements:
Java Full stack Development experience 1-3 years experience in JavaScript 1-3 years experience with HTML/CSS 1-3 years experience building single page applications 1-3 years experience working with source code repositories (e.g. GitHub, Azure DevOps)

Ability to write effective unit tests Understanding of RESTful APIs Understanding of TDD Understanding of CI/CD Understanding of effective code reviews Ability to translate a UX design brief into working software Understanding of Agile, Lean, Scrum & Kanban Skills:
