- As Project Manager R&D, you manage the right processes and functions to translate customer demand into an end product. You are responsible for delivering projects within the set objectives, from a planning perspective as well as a quality and financial perspective.
- You have regular contact with the customer and report the progress. You also contribute in a pivotal manner to the project and manage the software/hardware development process within the project. These development processes are different in scope and for both internal and external customers. We develop our projects with a mix of waterfall and/or agile processes. You directly manage the project team of 20 engineers. Within this position, you report to the Manager Projects.
- You document and communicate the required activities including preparation, execution, and recording of meetings, presentations, and gatherings concerning assigned projects.
- 2 to 6 years of relevant experience as a team leader , or project leader/manager in a technical (software) product development environment
- Experience with Agile product development
- Experience with project management tools and project reporting
- Identify opportunities and being able to convert those opportunities into projects
- A drive to continuously improve
- Experience working with international and multicultural teams
- Willingness to travel (with some regularity) to support the implementation of international projects
- Good command of spoken and written English
- Affinity with embedded software and/or the agricultural sector is a plus
