    Description

    Vhi currently have a full time permanent vacancy for a Procurement Business Partner, based in Dublin. The Procurement Function is on a maturity journey with the vision to transform its role from one of compliance, to one of strategic partnership.

    This is driven by the belief that transformation will deliver on the value, sustainability and efficiency objectives and key strategic priorities for the future of Vhi Group. It is an exciting opportunity to be part of Procurement Function transformation journey and help our colleagues to procure using best in class techniques and approaches throughout the whole source to pay process. Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
    • Analysing data, and creating value add insights to determine industry and consumer trends regarding the category
    • Creating and developing a strategic long-term plan that includes sustainability objectives for the development of the category.
    • Build performance-based supplier relationship leading to continuous and sustainable cost reduction, quality improvement, process improvement and on time delivery performance.
    • Managing budget development and revenue for the category, including category ranging and pricing.
    • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with Finance, Procurement Leads and Contract Relationship Owners teams.
    • Lead procurement activities (including RFP, Contract negotiations & management) ensuring that the best practice according to internal Policies and Procedure have been followed.
    • Aid development of overall procurement strategy for Vhi Group promoting and developing a culture of best practice procurement strategy and business partnership model.
    • Assist with developing and delivering training and the roll out of the Procurement software solution to internal stakeholders
    The successful candidate must have:
    • Degree level is preferable, with CIPS /IIPMM or equivalent.
    • Minimum 3 -5 years of professional experience in procurement.
    • Ability to analyse and develop accurate conclusions to support category decisions based on key data.
    • An understanding of the market and consumer insights and trends.
    • Ability to plan and priorities work activities and use time efficiently.
    • Proficient in MS Office Good understanding of numeracy Experience:
    • Previous experience and good knowledge of sustainable sourcing. Strong knowledge of category management, marketing and sales principles

    • Working with key stakeholders to clearly understand and influence requirements for assigned category:
      • Within budget

    • Lead complete procurement process that includes RFQ and tendering.
