- Manage a portfolio of personal income tax clients and ensure their returns are correct and filed on time.
- Manage a portfolio of corporate tax clients and ensure their returns are correct and filed on time.
- Undertaking tax compliance and specific consultancy assignments in all areas of tax, to include Income Tax, Corporation Tax, CGT, VAT, CAT and Stamp Duty for allocated client portfolio and on certain projects.
- Assisting with Revenue aspect queries and audits.
- Direct contact with clients, the Tax Office, other Accountancy, Law and Professional Firms in the delivery of Client Service.
- Review/Manage work of junior staff and development of training programme.
- Applicants should possess an Accountancy Qualification and/or AITI with experience in Tax.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of clients and staff.
- Be fully aware and conversant with compliance standards imposed by the various regulatory authorities for tax and audit.
- Require an appreciation of the importance of continuous training (CPD) in these areas.
