    Kenny-Whelan (a specialist division of the CPL group) are hiring a QC Analyst – Sample Management to work within the Sample Management Team (QC Department), on contract at Janssen Sciences in Ringaskiddy.

    Job Description

    We have an exciting opportunity for a QC Analyst within the Sample Management team. The sample management team is a dynamic, fast-paced team within the QC Department, and is an area that faces continued growth year on year.

    The QC analyst will be part of a team responsible for managing all QC testing samples and reference materials.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Responsible for the coordination and management of sample material from multiple sources to and from the QC department.
    2. Ensures all NPI requests coming through Sample Management are actioned in the required timeframes.
    3. This may include direct handling and aliquoting of testing samples, management of reference materials, and planning/execution of international shipments.
    4. Stakeholder management including liaising with testing teams and other customers.
    5. Ensures all activities follow SOPs/WIs and protocols where appropriate and are performed in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
    6. Studies work processes, measurements, and performance metrics to identify improvement areas and recommends new or modified procedures based on findings.
    7. Collaborates with customers, suppliers, and associates to define and improve quality standards and expectations.
    8. Participates on process improvement teams.
    9. Leads/takes part in Quality Investigations.

    Qualifications

    1. 3rd level qualification in a science-related discipline.
    2. Knowledge of laboratory sample management is preferred.
    3. Industry experience (GMP laboratory) is essential.
    4. Experience with LIMS systems is desirable.
    5. Strong communication and co-ordination skills.

    MUST ALREADY BE ELIGIBLE TO WORK ON CONTRACT IN THE REPUBLIC OF IRELAND - i.e., have a valid work permit with 12 months permission on it.
