    Electrical Project Manager
    County Mayo, Ireland
    €60,000 - €65,000

    Our client is one of the leading sustainable lighting specialist and renewables installationscontractors in Ireland, providing lighting services to local authorities, private and commercial industries, and sports organisations

    They now have a fantastic opportunity for an Electrical Project Manager to join their team in County Mayo. Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer (COO), the successful candidate will be enthusiastic, confident, and highly motivated with excellent project management, planning and scheduling skills and be able to work independently as well as part of a team.

    REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
    • Qualified Level 8 Degree in Project Management or Energy/ Mechanical/ Electrical/ Civil Engineering.
    • Candidates will ideally have been an experienced and qualified electrical engineer on industrial/commercial or street lighting projects before moving into Project Management.
    • Strong technical understanding of the electrical construction/utility industry.
    • Minimum 5 years of project management experience delivering projects.
    • Demonstrable evidence of strong commercial acumen and client relationship management.
    • Experience in applying lean principles to work activities.

    REQUIRED SKILLS

    • Strong organisational and time management skills to ensure projects are completed on schedule.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for conveying project goals and updates.
    • Strong people skills.
    • Excellent IT skills using Microsoft suite of products, particularly Excel.
    • Can make ethical decisions, especially when faced with challenging situations.
    • Familiarity with project management tools to streamline planning, tracking, and reporting processes.
    • Must have a customer-oriented mindset to ensure that project outcomes align with client expectations.
    • Flexibility to adapt to changes in project scope, schedules, and priorities.
    RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Ensure projects are delivered meeting the respective safety, quality and cost objectives of the business and clients.
    • Analyse and report portfolio performance including KPI monitoring, budget, cost control, risk management, client billing, cash flow and implementing rapid recovery as required.
    • Actively partake in the implementation of business operating systems to improve efficiency throughout the organisation, specifically but not limited to the area of project management.
    • Manage project tasks from sales orders and terms with the QS & client team, maintaining client relationships, and delivering scope through effective planning, scheduling & resourcing approach.
