Applications are invited for the position of General Operative with specific responsibility for customer management, loading customers and flow of visiting traffic in Retail yard and checking of all customer entrance and exits.

The persons appointed will report to the Retail Manager in the Ryan's Retail outlet, Co. Clare.

About The Role

Key areas of responsibility:

• Ensure the smooth operation of the retail yard with other employees and customers.
• Dealing with customers in a timely and professional manner.
• Monitor & maintain Health & Safety systems to ensure the safety of all employees and customers.
• Dealing with Complaints and Safety issues with the Retail Manager.
• Processing, checking, and loading of customers when exiting the site in a timely manner.
• Operate the traffic management in the retail area in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Control all traffic movements in an efficient and a timely manner.
• Other duties as requested by the Retail Manager.

The following knowledge, skills, competencies are required for this role:

• Team player with an ability to work on own initiative.
• Strong organisational skills.
• Trustworthy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with employees and customers visiting the site.
• Experience in operating machinery such as forklift or telescopic handler.
• An ability to operate to strict timelines/deadlines.
