    Responsibilities

  • Forecast, track and manage various project programmes ensuring delivery on schedule and within cost as agreed with the clients and Entegro.
  • Programme works with a detailed efficiency to ensure maximum output & in line with programme requirements.
  • Upkeep of project trackers, RAID registers ensuring accurate, and setup is user friendly.
  • Ensure all workflow tools are setup correctly to closely monitor field performance and completed works, minimising use of labour-intensive daily data entries to project trackers.
  • Ensure that managers, office staff, field staff and sub-contractors using workflow tools correctly to ensure analytics run correctly.
  • Monitor the programme components meticulously, ensuring all tasks are undertaken in line with the agreed schedule and working on solutions for any shortfalls.
  • Ensure that project risks are identified, managed and that mitigating actions are implemented at the programme level as appropriate, and that these are escalated to the relevant stakeholders where warranted.
  • Ability to work to tight timelines and budgets.
  • Pro-active attitude: generates ideas and inputs to deliverables to support the effectiveness and efficiency of the project.
  • With direction from the Contract Manager, setup structures relevant to role to allow both increasing & decreasing scale on each workstream.
  • Issue scheduled reports to clients and Entegro management.
  • Conduct reports, as confirmation that Entegro's HSEQ and ISO standards are being adhered to.
  • Develops opportunities and initiates projects to reduce cost, drive efficiencies within the team.
  • Streamlines process and improves work performance for Delivery team.
  • Ensure daily tracking outputs across field staff is completed.
  • Track costs with 100% accuracy on daily basis.
  • Drive continuous improvement relative to the role.
  • Key skills and experience:

    Essential

  • 3+ years in a similar position as a programme manager / project manager.
  • Skilled in FTTH networks (or similar), both survey & build.
  • Qualification in programme or project management
  • Previous experience of managing field-based teams and subcontractors.
  • Previous experience of liaising with and reporting to your line manager; programmes, staff outputs and future projections.
  • Flexible and adaptable to work challenges and open to learn and develop skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work to a high standard
  • A high standard of written and spoken English.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work within a team.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft software (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.) - Highly skilled in excel based programme management.
  • Proficient in the use of tablet, phones and PC's
  • Advantageous

  • Previous experience within large scale network survey & builds.
  • Qualification in programme management (PMP/MSP/Prince2) or similar
  • Previous experience using ArcGIS.
