Description

Our client, a respected group of Nursing Homes across Ireland, seeks a dedicated Regional Operations Manager to oversee and elevate the quality of care provided in their facilities


Role and Responsibilities:

General Oversight:
Ensure that each role within the nursing homes understands their responsibilities and is held accountable for delivering safe, quality care

Quality

Management:
Lead the development of a robust quality management system, conducting regular walkabouts, audits, and analysis of key performance indicators


Reporting and Communication:
Provide regular updates to the CEO on regional performance, addressing challenges and opportunities


Compliance and Safety:
Uphold compliance with regulatory requirements and foster a culture of adherence to healthcare standards. Monitor and ensure health and safety standards in each home.

Financial

Management:
Assist in budget planning and monitoring, negotiate contracts, and manage wages and salaries


Human Resources:
Drive employee retention, growth, and development, monitor staffing levels, and ensure compliance with induction programs and training


Management:
Develop and grow services, manage risks, participate in staff orientation and training, and foster open communication and healthy working relationships


Qualifications and Experience Required:
A BSc in a scientific or healthcare-related discipline Management Experience Proficient in Microsoft Office and IT systems Demonstratable experience in budget management and management accounts


Desirable:
Ability to source both theoretical and technical information Knowledge of organisation of health services and trends nationally and internationally
