    We are looking for a Warehouse Operative to work as part of our warehouse and logistics team based in our Fonthill HQ, Dublin 22. You will assist with day-to-day stock management within the warehouse and support the sales, retail, logistics, and management teams.

    Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

    1. Loading and unloading delivery vehicles, by hand or with a forklift truck - mixed weights
    2. Checking for damaged or missing items and sorting stock for storage in the warehouse
    3. Receiving and processing warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store) checking against paperwork and using the warehouse management systems. Reporting issues and discrepancies
    4. Preparing and completing orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
    5. Picking orders, packing correctly and safely with adequate packaging, and completing transfers on the company system as well as arranging shipping and loading goods onto delivery vehicles
    6. Operating a forklift truck to move and rearrange stock, ensuring that products are stored safely and labelled correctly
    7. Performing inventory controls and keeping quality standards high for audits. Stock checks and stock takes as required
    8. Other warehouse operations, as required

    General

    1. Following quality service standards and complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
    2. Keeping a clean and safe working environment and optimizing space utilization. Cleaning and maintaining the warehouse is part of the daily routine
    3. Communicating and cooperating with supervisors and co-workers
    4. Operating and maintaining warehouse vehicles and equipment preventively
    5. Complying with company and legislative Environment, Health and Safety requirements
    6. Completing a limited number of deliveries to customers and stores (currently up to ten local deliveries per week, subject to change)

    Skills & Competencies Required

    1. Ability to prioritize and proactively manage workload, and solve problems
    2. Good time management and organizational skills
    3. Excellent attention to detail, with good communication skills
    4. 2+ years' experience as a warehouse operative
    5. Ability to lift heavy objects
    6. Use of email is a requirement, knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Numbers is a distinct advantage
    7. Leaving cert or equivalent level of education

    Preferred Additional Skills

    1. Current forklift licence
    2. Experience with a Warehouse System

    Working Conditions

    Work in a warehouse environment. Manual handling required. Use of the company van for deliveries and collections, as required.

    Occasional travel between offices/locations may be required.
