Location: Ennis, Co. Clare

Full-time, Permanent

Kontour Design Ltd. is seeking an experienced and motivated Workshop Manager to lead our busy workshop team. This is a hands-on management role that requires excellent technical knowledge, strong leadership, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day workshop operations, ensuring smooth scheduling and timely delivery of projects.
• Lead, motivate, and manage a team of fitters and workshop staff.
• Maintain quality standards across all workshop output.
• Monitor workflow, allocate tasks, and ensure deadlines are met.
• Manage materials, tools, and equipment to support efficient operations.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety policies and company procedures.
• Work closely with management to support continuous improvement and resolve operational challenges.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a workshop or production management role.
• Strong technical skills in fitting, fabrication, or related trades.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
• Good organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and take responsibility for meeting deadlines.
• Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
