HGV Mechanic - Clare, Ireland - Harmonics

Description

Our client is looking for an experienced HGV Mechanic to join their busy Transport Department. They are a leading manufacturer of chemicals used in producing safe drinking water for Irish homes and businesses, as well as in environmental wastewater treatment.

The successful candidate will report to the Engineering Manager and collaborate with the Senior Mechanic to conduct various HGV motor mechanical tasks for the company.

• Prepare vehicles for CVRT testing and quarterly inspections
• Provide training and guidance to apprentices and colleagues when needed
• Deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment
• Perform well under pressure while maintaining efficiency
• Have a flexible approach to tasks and be open to working overtime
• Manage parts ordering and stock levels effectively
• Adhere to all Health & Safety regulations

• Hold a Qualified Heavy Goods Vehicle Mechanic certification
• Must possess a C1 Driving Licence
• Demonstrated expertise in vehicle and trailer servicing and diagnostics
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in the industry
• Thorough understanding of CVRT requirements for HGVs
