    The Accounting Operations team is looking for a highly motivated, dynamic finance professional to join our team. This team is focused on statutory governance, as well as leading key strategic projects and initiatives from an Accounting Operations perspective with attention to build for the future.

    Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Maths, Economics, Data Science or related field
  • OR Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Maths Economics, Data Science or related field AND 2+ years of post-graduate Financial Analysis, Accounting, Controllership or Finance work experience
  • OR equivalent experience.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Excel, PowerBI, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience using ERP systems – SAP is desirable.
  • Experience of Machine Learning and applications.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong Analytics and problem-solving skills.
  • Additional or Preferred Qualifications (PQs)

  • Highly organized, self-motivated individual with ability to quickly identify what needs to be accomplished and resourcefulness to accomplish.
  • Second language preferable.
  • Responsibilities

    This is a critical role in the Accounting Operations team, with the main responsibilities as follows:

  • You will provide support during financial close periods, and prepare recurring financial reporting, forecasts and presentations. You'll also inform future projects by comparing financial results to the expected budget.
  • You'll identify opportunities in developing automated accounting applications and coordinating information requirements.
  • Using data mining techniques and business intelligence to assemble data, then using statistical analysis, predictive analytics, and financial modeling techniques to study it. As you do so, you'll improve current data collection methods and communicate results.
  • You'll support the preparation of the annual financial statements and audit co- ordination while also managing relationships with external service providers to ensure timely and accurate reporting for applicable legal entities. This will involve partnering across Tax, Finance, Legal, Business Planning and Engineering teams to achieve business objectives.
  • To ensure compliance with company policies, legal standards, and reporting requirements, you'll review the accuracy of financial documents and business processes. You'll also drive correct measures and support any questions regarding documentation, policies, and requirements.
