    Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Process Engineer with expertise in wrapping machine setup and performance for our chocolate bar manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency, reliability, and optimal performance of our Horizontal Flow Wrapping machines, contributing to the overall production process and product quality.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Wrapping Machine Setup:

  • Conducting thorough machine setup procedures for wrapping machines to meet production requirements.
  • Collaborating with production and maintenance teams to ensure seamless transitions between format changeovers. Developing andoptimizing standard work processes and SMED
  • Performance Optimization:

  • Continuously monitoring and analyzing wrapping machine performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Implementing adjustments and enhancements to maximize machine efficiency and minimize downtime.
  • Troubleshooting:

  • Diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to wrapping machines promptly.
  • Collaborating with maintenance staff to address mechanical and electrical problems affecting machine performance.
  • Process Improvement:

  • Identifying opportunities for process optimization and efficiency gains in wrapping operations.
  • Proposing and implementing improvements to enhance overall productivity and reduce waste.
  • Quality Assurance:

  • Ensuring that wrapped chocolate bars meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Collaborating with the quality control team to address any deviations from quality requirements.
  • Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintaining detailed records of machine setup configurations and changes.
  • Generating regular reports on machine performance, efficiency, and any issues encountered.
  • Training and Development:

  • Providing training to machine operators, Technicians, Line manager, etc, on proper setup procedures and best practices.
  • Staying updated on industry advancements and incorporating relevant knowledge into daily operations.
  • Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (10 years) as a Process Engineer, focusing on wrapping machine setup and optimization in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of wrapping machine technologies and processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to manufacturing equipment.
