A well-established main contractor is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor with experience of working on commercial / residential or industrial projects.

• Maintaining control over costs and ensuring profitability within the company's portfolio


• Managing multiple smaller projects simultaneously, typically valued between £1m – £8m


• Evaluating procurement strategies to optimize value for money and minimize risks


• Collaborating with project managers to ensure successful project delivery, meeting client expectations and adhering to industry standards

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Demonstrated expertise in quantity surveying, specifically in managing commercial aspects of construction projects
< li > Proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a team , managing competing priorities effectively under tight deadlines handling high - level stress levels while maintaining accurate records maintained . < p > The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills , logical problem-solving abilities, communication skills that foster trust among colleagues. Good IT knowledge : software proficiency especially MS Office suite but preferable having specific tools like Project Management Information System .
