    Description
    Job Title: Director of Nursing

    We are seeking a skilled and experienced Director of Nursing to join our team at a Nursing Home in Louth, Ireland. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high standards of care to our residents.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Ensure all policies, procedures and guidelines are implemented and in practice throughout the home.
    • Provide support and strategic and clinical leadership for nursing and related services, resulting in effective, efficient, quality assured and resident-centered care.
    • Maintain compliance with all relevant Regulations in our sector.
    • Oversee all clinical documentation within the home and ensure systems are up to date.
    • Conduct spot checks and internal audits of documentation, with follow-up and action plans as necessary.
    • Foster an environment of continuous improvement and best practice in the home.


    Requirements:

    • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Director of Nursing or Person in Charge.
    • Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
    • Demonstrable experience of strategic and clinical leadership adhering to HIQA standards, procedures and guidelines.
    • Strong financial, budgetary and administrative knowledge.
    • Excellent people management and leadership skills.
    • Post-registration management qualification in health or a related field is required.


    Salary:

    €65,000 - €80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
