    Job Title:

    Quantity Surveyor

    We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our Limerick team for a large Civil Engineering project.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects, ensuring accurate financial reporting and timely compliance with legal requirements.
    • Monitor and manage project costs, including procurement, contracts, and variations, to optimize profitability.
    • Assist with tendering processes and provide cost advice to clients, leveraging strong knowledge of construction contracts and procurement methods.
    • Liaise with clients, contractors, and consultants to resolve issues and maintain project timelines, demonstrating excellent communication and negotiation skills.

    Requirements:

    • A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field, backed by at least 3 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
    • Strong understanding of construction contracts, procurement methods, and cost control, with proficiency in relevant software (e.g., MS Excel, CostX, AutoCAD).
    • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
