    IT Support Engineer (Night Shift - L2)

    Description

    We help business owners maintain their daily operations by managing their IT, networks, systems, and cybersecurity needs.

    We are seeking a full-time IT Support Engineer to join our team in Dublin, Cork, or Galway. This role requires working night shifts, including weekends, with occasional day shifts during initial training.

    The Role: IT Support Engineer (Night Shift - L2).

    Location: On-site in Dublin, Cork, or Galway.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide dedicated IT support to customers.
    • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues across various hardware and systems, escalating when necessary.
    • Deliver support on complex issues at client sites.
    • Set up and maintain new users at client sites.
    • Collaborate with the Account Manager to identify improvement projects and deliver excellent service.
    • Understand compliance requirements at client sites.
    • Ensure operational security and reduce risk.
    • Act as the customer's primary point of contact, being customer-focused, enthusiastic, ambitious, and solution-driven.
    • Prioritize and execute tasks in high-pressure environments.

    Requirements:

    • 3+ years' experience as an IT Engineer or IT Field Engineer, with Microsoft environment expertise.
    • Considerable experience with Windows Server Administration, Firewalls, and Networking.
    • Familiarity with Microsoft technologies (e.g., Office 365, Windows 10, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Firewalls, switches, access points, VLANs, VPN).
    • Azure knowledge is beneficial.
    • Excellent English communication skills.
