    Description

    We are currently seeking Healthcare Assistants to support our care teams in six Care Centres across Ireland.

    As a valued member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional care to our residents.

    Locations

    • Abbot Close Care Centre, Limerick;
    • Clarinbridge Care Centre, Galway;
    • Ferbane Care Centre, Offaly;
    • Killeline Care Centre, Limerick;
    • Windmill House Care Centre, Cork;
    • Willow Brooke Care Centre, Kerry.

    Responsibilities and Duties

    1. Support the nursing staff in providing quality person-centered care to meet residents' needs.
    2. Develop relationships with residents by getting to know their interests and needs, providing attention, support, and companionship.
    3. Promote mobility and assist as necessary to ensure optimum mobility is maintained and improved where possible.
    4. Enable and assist residents to maintain personal appearance and hygiene while maintaining their dignity.
    5. Assist residents to eat/drink and achieve physical comfort.
    6. Participate in, organise, and carry out social activities.
    7. Maintain effective communication between residents' families and staff, developing good relationships.
    8. Contribute to maintaining high standards of cleanliness in the home.
    9. Support Health and Safety initiatives in the home.
    10. Perform other duties as deemed necessary by the Nurse in Charge and management.

    Qualifications / Skills

    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Able to work independently or as part of a team.
    • Maintain a positive approach.
    • Fluent level of English (written and oral).
