    We currently have a vacancy for a Data Privacy Analyst to join our data privacy team based in our Head Office in Dublin City Centre. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual beginning their career or had relevant experience in retail.

    In this role, you will be reporting to the Data Privacy Manager, managing data subject requests, working closely with the business to support their data privacy compliance, assisting data privacy risk assessments and project work as required.

    Key responsibilities will include:

  • Manage the completion of data subject rights requests, such as data access, deletions, queries and complaints for our customers and employees.
  • Day to day management of the data privacy mailbox, tracking and responding to queries, data incident notification, ad hoc internal and external queries, assisting with root cause analysis and drafting solutions.
  • Maintain and manage accurate records and logs of data privacy activities to facilitate oversight, analysis and reporting.
  • Assist in the development data privacy training material and distribution across the organisation.
  • Provide support to the Data Privacy Manager with the planning, development, management and implementation of data privacy assessments.
  • Assist the Data Privacy Manager in the coordination of data privacy and risk management activities and the administration of same.
  • Support the Data Privacy Manager with administrative work for the function.
  • What we are looking for:

  • Third-level qualification in business related discipline
  • Keen interest in data privacy, legal, risk or technology would be an advantage
  • Strong administration, analytical and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) with the business at all levels in a clear, timely and effective manner
  • Positive and proactive approach with a strong team ethic with a view to delivering for the organisation
  • Self-starter with determination to improve the data subject's privacy experience by demonstrating problem solving skills, considering solutions, driving resolution of privacy compliance in projects, programs and initiatives
  • Data Protection certifications will be supported
