Perform Recruitment is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Tyre Fitter on behalf of our client in Midleton, Cork, for their busy depot. As a Tyre Fitter, you will be integral to the smooth functioning of the depot, responsible for managing operations on designated days while the manager is off. Additionally, you will carry out tyre fitting and maintenance duties both on the retail floor and as part of our roadside breakdown assist service.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the tyre depot for a day per week in the absence of the manager, ensuring efficient operations and excellent customer service.
• Perform tyre fitting and maintenance on a diverse range of vehicles.
• Conduct thorough inspections to diagnose tyre-related issues accurately.
• Ensure the safe and efficient installation of tyres in compliance with industry standards.
• Provide exceptional service to customers, both in-store and during roadside breakdown assistance.

Requirements:

• Valid B driving license is essential.
• Manual handling certificate is mandatory.
• Proven experience as a Tyre Fitter is preferred, but not essential, as full training will be provided.
• Starting rate of 15-16 euro per hour, depending on experience.
• Working hours: 40-45 hours per week.
