- Offer hospital patients a full range of nutrition and dietetic services.
- Promote and maintain throughout the hospital an awareness of sound nutrition and an appreciation of the importance of nutrition in the rehabilitation process.
- Support the Dietitian Manager through the implementation and maintenance of best nutrition and dietetic practice
- Contribute to the development, implementation, and updating of nutrition policies, procedures, and systems that support the needs of the hospital.
- Provide a comprehensive Nutrition and Dietetic service to patients undergoing rehabilitation.
- Maintain records of treatment care in the patient's case notes in line with departmental and hospital policies.
- Provide group education sessions to patients as appropriate.
- Possess a human nutrition and dietetics B.Sc. degree, a nutrition and dietetics diploma, or a dietetics qualification at least equal to the aforementioned.
- Possess a track record of solid clinical experience in mental health rehabilitation.
- Must have post-qualification clinical experience as a Dietician
- Possess an extensive understanding of the laws about Mental health, nutrition, and other matters that impact healthcare organizations.
- Must have experience in Neuro-disability and mental health dietetics
