    Data Analyst - Power BI - 6 month Fixed Term contract

    €100,000 pro rata Salary

    Responsibilities:

    • Providing expertise and specialist knowledge in the area of data analytics to ensure the efficient, accurate, up to date reporting on Programme/Portfolio/Project data.
    • Develop and report data analysis findings regularly and collaboratively with team members.
    • Ensure appropriate outcome of assigned tasks that has been completed is communicated clearly and effectively both to the team and other stakeholders.
    • Maintain and develop data analytics sources/tools/processes/procedures to ensure the Operations Team can design, develop and deliver reporting on data
    • Provide relevant skills transfer and coaching to team members to share expertise and ensure that the necessary skills, competencies and knowledge are being developed and leveraged across the team, as appropriate.
    • Work co-operatively with Management and team members to ensure all deliverables are to a high quality.
    • Carry out such other ad-hoc analyst activities as may be determined by the Management team.

    Requirements:

    • A third level honours degree or professional qualification in the area of statistics, business analytics, computer science, maths, finance, economics, risk or any related professional discipline.
    • Minimum 4 relevant experience in data analytics roles within industry, academia, and/ or relevant financial services. Relevant experience includes: working in data analytics/data Science, statistical consulting/applied research roles, business intelligence, or data-focused risk analysis within the financial services sector
    • Experience in applying data analytics in a business context and practical knowledge of relevant analytics software tools and infrastructure.
    • 4 year's relevant experience in reporting/dashboarding - PowerBI,
    • Proficiency in SQL, preferably T-SQL, Excel, (Sharepoint a bonus)
