    Senior Principle Process Automation Engineer

    This role provides technical leadership and expertise for automation support of manufacturing operations in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety guidelines.

    The Senior Principle Process Automation Engineer will provide guidance and mentorship to team members, foster a collaborative and innovative work environment, and design and develop automation solutions for biopharmaceutical manufacturing processes.

    • Design and develop automation solutions for biopharmaceutical manufacturing processes

    The ideal candidate will have hands-on knowledge of Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs), Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition (SCADA) solutions, and related support systems.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Troubleshoot automation computer system hardware
    • Provide off-hours automation control system support
    • Program and configure automation systems
    • Create automation related change controls
    • Investigate automation related deviations

    Requirements:

    • Degree in Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or relevant discipline
    • Hands-on knowledge of DCS, PLCs, HMIs, SCADA solutions, and related support systems
    • Ability to mentor and provide technical expertise to influence decision makers

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Previous experience configuring and troubleshooting automation control systems
    • Previous experience mentoring others on automation topics
    • Previous experience working in a regulated environment
