    Responsibilities and Duties:

    • Support the nursing staff in providing high-quality holistic care to our residents.
    • Maintain residents' hygiene/personal care needs to the highest standards while preserving their dignity at all times.
    • Assist residents with eating and drinking according to their nutrition needs.
    • Assist residents with mobilizing as appropriate and utilize correct aids.
    • Escort and transfer residents as directed by the nursing staff.
    • Participate in End of Life Care.
    • Perform other duties deemed necessary by the nurse and management.

    Qualifications and Skills:

    • QQI/FETAC qualification or relevant experience in a similar environment.
    • Practical experience in a caring capacity is desired.
    • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
    • Professional, caring, and empathetic nature.
    • Comfortable working in a sometimes challenging environment.
    • Good level of English language skills.
    • Availability to work varied shift patterns: days, nights & weekends, across Monday to Sunday.
