Senior Automation Engineer – Commissioning Support 1436

SimoTech require a Senior Automation Engineer to join our team, supporting a large multinational Pharmaceutical client based in Cork. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' DeltaV Batch Automation experience in the Pharmaceutical/Life Sciences industry, as well as experience providing commissioning support on automation projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Configuration and testing of DeltaV software.
• Support the commissioning of DeltaV projects.
• Troubleshooting of DeltaV systems.
• Working with Process and Project Engineering teams to plan and deliver DeltaV projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or Life Sciences.
• Minimum 5 years DeltaV Batch experience.
• Strong knowledge of S-88 Batch Standard.
• Good understanding of GAMP.
• Chemical API experience an advantage.
• Ability to interact and communicate with other engineering and business disciplines.
