    Your mission

    Output are seeking the support of a Financial Controller who is accountable for the administrative, financial, and risk management operations of the company, including the day to day accounting and financial reporting requirements, supporting the development of a financial and operational strategy, identifying and tracking relevant KPIs, and establishing and monitoring the financial and reporting of systems to preserve company assets and report accurate financial results.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and manage the accounting, human resources, investor relations, legal, tax, and treasury functions of the company in line with start-up growth. This includes working to bring the outsourced accounting functions in-house, managing any third party professional firms for specialised functions such as tax, audit and compliance. Accuracy and efficiency of accounting are of key importance in the near term.
    • Assist in formulating the company's future direction through providing input on the company's business plan, financial and tax strategies, budgeting, and forecasting.
    • Develop robust financial models to aid in the Company's fundraising strategy and business planning.
    • Develop performance measures and reporting that support the company's strategic direction and implement processes so these measures can be monitored efficiently.
    • Maintain in-depth relations with all members of the management team
    • Oversee the financial operations of subsidiary companies and foreign operations and assist in expansion to overseas markets.
    • Report financial results and key KPIs to the board of directors.
    • Monitor cash balances and cash forecasts; assist in arranging for future debt and equity financing; invest funds
    Experience and Qualifications
    • Bachelor's or higher degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field.
    • 3+ years of Chartered Accounting experience in a Global firm.
    • 2+ years in a high-growth tech startup, preferably SaaS company.
    Ideal Candidate
    • A "doer". Someone who wants to get things done, get into the detail of helping us manage the day to day operations but the ability to help at a strategic level.
    • Proven ability to develop and implement financial systems and strategies
    • Expertise in financial reporting, analysis, modelling, and valuation
    • Strong experience with CRM tools and reporting dashboards, ideally HubSpot
    • A natural curiosity and a "big picture/growth" mentality
    • Excellent spoken and written communication skills, with a proven ability to engage with core stakeholders.
