Irish Recruiter is looking for a LLM Application Engineer for a leading recruitment technology solutions company, known for driving innovation and excellence in HR tech.

This position offers the opportunity to be at the forefront of AI application development, in an innovative environment, collaborating with a team of engineers and scientists to develop Language Learning Model (LLM) applications and agents, specifically tailored for the HR industry.

Role responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy LLM applications and agents for the HR industry, as part of the team. Utilize advanced prompting techniques to optimize the performance of LLM agents.

Engage in research and development to explore new capabilities and improvements for LLM applications.

Contribute to the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding, debugging, and deployment.

Maintain and improve code quality through writing unit tests, automation, and performing code reviews.

Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas to our technology, algorithms, and products.

Work with the product and design teams to understand end-user requirements and translate them into pragmatic and effective technical solutions.

Required skills and experience:

• Demonstrated experience in developing at least one LLM backed project (commercial or personal side project). Simple embeddings-powered chatbots don't count
• Proficiency in Python backend development.
• Experience with an LLM application library such as Langchain or similar.
• In-depth knowledge and practical experience with advanced prompting techniques.
• Strong understanding of transformer architecture and its applications in LLMs.
• Experience of developing a product new to market, in a similar role or industry.
• Strong English language skills, written and spoken.
• Based within 2 hours from GMT time zone.
• Right to work in chosen location.

Skills and Experience that are an advantage:

• Familiarity with NLP (Natural Language Processing) or data science.
• Previous experience in a startup environment.
